At George Mason University housekeeping services are provided by a small number George Mason University employees as well as several different contracted companies with various areas of responsibility. George Mason University housekeeping personnel are subject to the programs, documents, and training sessions provided by EHS. Contracted housekeeping personnel are subject to the same requires administered by their employer. However, EHS often provides site specific information to contractors in order to enhance their awareness of the workplace hazards at George Mason University.
