Artists face hazards in the workplace while expressing themselves through their craft. The tools that are used and the media selected can present a range of hazards to artists. EHS is committed to promoting health, safety, environmental protection, and compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. The
Art Safety Manual was created to facilitate the EHS mission within Mason art studios and creative workshops.
The Programs and Guides listed below will assist artists in working safely while painting, drawing, sculpting, print making, building and installing theatrical sets and otherwise creating their art work.
