The Office of Economic Development (OED) provides a centralized resource for the facilitation of mutually beneficial partnerships between George Mason University and industry, government, academia. Through the Mason Enterprise Center (MEC), OED serves as a strategic link to business with the provision of professional consulting and training services supporting business success, job creation/retention, and workforce development. Through OED's economic development engagement programs such as Virginia Economic Bridge ™ (VEB), Economic Development Leadership Institute™ (EDLI), Innovation Gainshare ™ Program, and international programs such as SEED-AMERICA ™, LEAP-AMERICA ™, and our very successful Embassy Trade Fair ™ Programs, George Mason University continues to provide a positive impact on the regional, national, and international economies.
